Dead Man Tell No Lies because that's exactly what the intent was for those family members that jumped Lyndon Smith to kill him. Out of prison, a neighborhood friend - T-Ronnie introduced a newly freed Lyndon to another friend's ex Karen and even though the sex was good; to Lyndon it was never love. Grateful that she allowed him to stay with her until he got on his feet - Lyndon established his independence from Karen via selling Crack Cocaine - turning it into a lucrative career that kept him mostly away from home. Karen steals money from Lyndon and has a baby (Sas) Lyndon Jr., but the relationship erodes as Karen plays one game after another with Lyndon's affections. Back and forth between Karen and Alabama and other women, a resentful Karen steals drugs from Lyndon setting the table for revenge against him. Several years later, when the kids are grown and Karen is pushing counterfeit money - she and her kids assemble to kill Lyndon and almost succeed until state troopers save Lyndon's life by recovering his badly beaten body out of the trunk of the car. This is a page turner that I fully enjoyed. Would have like to read more about what happened after the incident. It's a great read that I commend to all.
